Since there are several international dictionaries available, Pardon has built-in support for many international characters. You can of course type these on the keyboard the regular way, if you have them available. You can also use the QuickAccent system to type codes which is transformed to characters before search.
The QuickAccent system is built up of a few characters which transforms the next character into a special character. For example, the period (.) adds an umlaut to the top of the character following. These are called character enhancers.
